Open July through October
The Calhoun County orchard worth the drive.
Experience one of Calhoun County, Illinois sweetest destinations since 1937. We are a family owned & operated orchard in beautiful Calhoun County, Illinois. We grow our own peaches, apples, blackberries, & pumpkins and offer fresh baked goods from our ovens on the weekend.
Take a ride across the Illinois or Mississippi river to visit our storefront!
The Saturday Question
"What are we doing this weekend?"
If you’ve asked that question for the third weekend in a row, you’re not alone. Most “family fun” days look the same, and feel the same on the credit card.
- The kids are bored of the same indoor places. Parents are tired of paying $80 for it.
- You want a real country day. Not a manicured agritourism “experience” with wristbands and lines.
- The grandparents want to come too, and most kids’ activities don’t leave room for them.
- You’d drive an hour for something worth it. Just not for a roadside stand selling Georgia peaches.
That’s the day we set out to make when you take a ferry ride across the river to visit us in Calhoun County, IL.
Why People Cross the River
Family-grown. Fresh-baked. Worth the trip.
Debbie and Blake Kamp, mother and son, run Hagen Family Orchard the way the family always has. Peaches off our own trees and fresh baked goods from our own ovens.
Founded in 1937 by Jake Hagen
Present: Today the orchard is run by Jake's granddaughter and great grandson. Debbie and Blake Kamp, mother and son, are in the storefront or running the behind the scenes most days the doors are open.
